Rännirock vol.3

Living is learning
Earlie this month I got a chance to take pictures at "Rännirock" music festival, organized by TaYT (Tampereen Ylioppilasteatteri).
 Guys from the theater did a grate job in putting on a show. Two stages, great lightening, amazing groups and friendly faces. If you missed it this year, you should definitely try not to miss it next.
 The show was hosted by beautiful Alma and evening atmosphere was upheld by Dj:s Sumu-Antero and Strobo-Ellu.

 Among the performers were "Happy Birthday Wanda June" team, with some songs from the play, theater's very own street-performance band "Kuluttajat", Tapio Ylinen (not only a great artist, but also Wanda's director) and show-stoppers "Lili", "Hyvästi, Nikolai" and "Weirdship".

One of the first photosets this year was one with artistic Yana. She came to visit us for Christmas holiday and we couldn't leave this grate opportunity unused :) 

Inspiration for this set were Italian movies, passionate women, lonely evenings and a bit works of Terry Richardson (terryrichardson.com).

Ready Steady Go!

I was thinking lately, what would be the best way to post my oldest pictures here? Then it occurs to me, that starting this blog is a grate opportunity to make sort of a review of projects we've done last year, a kind of late-coming New Year sum-up.

I will probably start from the project I enjoyed the most.
So... late Finnish spring, year 2012... me, my friend/most/muse Marina and nice old-fashion dress (bought it on a theater "yard-sale" for 5e)... Idea was to create a romantically melancholic story, about a young, well educated girl, who came back to her small home town and is getting slightly mad because of lack of perspectives and unbearable loneliness...

The First Post is the Hardest...

They say, that the first post is the hardest, and looks like it is. For hours I tried to write something interesting, original and creative to describe myself in humorous and "catchy" manner. Well, turns out, writing is not exactly my thing :) so, I'll just skip this part and... see you in my pictures ;)
